The fantastic nature of the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North is right on our doorstep. Go on forays through the ancient forests, open green fields and along small streams and rivers. The Black Forest is a truly magical place full of dreamlike trails. Thanks to its vast and unique nature, the nature park is an excellent area for active people who like to keep moving.
Doing sports in the fresh air is healthy and an important part of a balanced lifestyle. The Black Forest Nature Park Central/North has more than 10,000 km of well-developed hiking trails, which are built and maintained by the Black Forest Association.
Exploring the region by bike is the best way to become one with the picturesque landscape. Some of the most beautiful bike paths pass very close to the hotel. The Nagoldtalradweg measures a stately 90 km and leads from the source of the Nagold to Pforzheim. Also recommended is the Nature Park Cycle Path with a length of 260 km.
Work on your handicap even on vacation! The surroundings of Pfalzgrafenweiler offer excellent conditions for friends of golf. The magnificent expanses of the Black Forest make every game a highlight. Top golf courses such as the Golfclub Freudenstadt, Schloss Weitenburg, Alpirsbach and Niederreutin are all less than 30 minutes away.
Feel with your senses and feet the special charm of wood, stones, bark mulch, grass, clay and water – cold, warm, damp, dry, pleasant, stimulating and invigorating – on a route of a total length of 2.4 km.
The nature adventure trail in the Black Forest, ideal for children and the next family hike, runs along the river Kinzing and is suitable for strollers.

With a total length of 1,250 meters and a height of up to 20 meters, the trail winds through beech, fir and spruce trees of the imposing mixed mountain forest – past numerous learning and adventure stations. The highlight is the 40-meter-high, architecturally unique observation tower.
Directly on the famous Black Forest High Road, since July 2001, and expanded in 2013, you can speed through 13 steep curves on steel rails at speeds of up to 40 km/h. It’s a real rush.
